More Layouts from Sketch Fest

Isn't this camel hilarious. We saw him at the Pensacola, FL Zoo over Thanksgiving last year while visiting Scott's parents. Everytime we held the camera up, he would literally grin and show all his not-so pearly whites-then when we'd put the camera down he go back to normal. So funny, Hailey and I came up with the title, a little play on the word camera LOL.

Here's another LO I was able to finish yet today...I think I'm finished until tomorrow. For this one, if we enter by 11 pm, there's a drawing, maybe I'll be the lucky winner...I'll keep you posted!! Crossing fingers!!

Creative-Scrappers is having a Sketch Fest this weekend. This is the perfect opportunity to get a lot of projects completed. If you love working with sketches, or if you haven't used them much, check it out-you'll be inspired by all the creative works in the gallery. See ya there!! There's a lot going on over at Creative Scrappers. Kristine, has 15 different sketch challenges that have at least one guideline or theme for the sketch. It's a great way to get lots of pages completed and try some techniques that are out of the box. Here's a few that I've accomplished so far

1 Hour Sketch Contest Complete

Tonight was so much fun!! Creative-Scrappers hosted a 1-hour Sketch contest!! It's an incredibly busy hour, they post a sketch and you have one hour to complete a layout. The only information given ahead of time is the size photo you need. Kristine Davidson created the sketch, which was awesome and this is my end result. I used Basic Grey's 'Mellow' line for this-another fun purchase from my trip out to Idaho this summer--I thought it went well with the Mountain theme, since this is Hailey while we were in the Smokey Mountain National Park over the 4th of July.

Here's LO I just created, the picture if of my youngest daughter at a 4th of July celebration in Ocean City, MD. She was 7 months old and just enjoying all the sites. Happy 4th of July everyone!!
