My Card Captured!

I was so excited to learn that my card was selected as the Card of the Week over at Let's Capture Our Memories  I had great fun making this card.  The challenge was monochromatic and/or transparent.  I used blue and a transparent treat cup from Stampin' Up.  The fish are candies that I found in a bulk candy store at
 a famer's market.  TFL

Crate Paper Excitement!

I am really excited to learn that Crate Paper, one of my favorite paper companies, is hosting a Design Team call! That's right, the opportunity to design for such a fabulous company is open right now! Crate Paper is a staple product in my stash of patterned paper. I've busy creating some exciting new Crate layouts and I've gone through my portfolio and gathered some of my previous Crate projects. I figured I could try to be subtle about all of a sudden having a group of Crate Paper projects featured on my blog, but why not just be obvious! It's Crate Paper and I would love to be a member of their design team.

Owl Pinata

I just have to share this, because I am so tickled with how he came out. My daughter's birthday party is on Saturday and it's a Valentine/birthday theme. Her invitations were owls, so we are trying to incorporate owls into the party too. My paper mache' pinata didn't work (the balloon deflated) so I decorated a large cereal box and with the help of the cricut and crepe paper, here are how it turned out. I don't know if I'll ever mess with paper mache' again...
