I forgot to post these
Here's some things I've been working on
Here's a sneak peak of Sketch #37 that will debut on Sunday over at Creative Scrappers. I loved this sketch by Kristine Davidson. I just had to give you a sneak, the reveal will be on Sunday!! Couldn't you just bite that cute mushroom?! YUMM!!
I created this page using a sketch by my good buddy Sandi Johnson! I think I stayed in the Sassafras Lass box for this one--I just {{{Heart}}} SL
Here's a close-up of the tag!
Paper Popsicles had a 3 things challenge. I signed up-not really knowing what I would have to do, but was it ever fun!! We had a contestant list and the person above me emailed me 3 items, 1. a word 2. a color and 3. and embellishment. My 3 things that Allison sent me were 1. Kiss 2. Red 3. Hand-stitching. Here's what I came up with--and btw everyone's pages are amazing!! For this page I used Pink Paislee, Bo Bunny, and Teresa Collins.
On Monday night there was a One-hour Layout contest, I love these. I think we had close to 20 participants and it's so amazing to see all the different approaches on one sketch. If you get a chance go check out the Gallery. Here's my take on the sketch. I used Kaiser Craft, fun stuff (I've had it in my drawer since August) I love the birds. The pink note paper is Creative Imaginations.

I created this page with 2 challenges in mind. The The Scrap n' Supply Shack is hosting a use your stash challenge, where you need to use your stash to create 3 pages with varying styles. 1. Shabby Chic 2. Simple Clean lines and 3. Freestyle I also used Socal Scrap's February Color Combo Challenge for this page...here's the color combo for the month--I love it!!
Here's my Shabby Chic page-This photo is of my mother as a child with her very precious China Doll. I'm waiting to get a date from her. She still has this doll.

Enjoy
I created this page using Paper Posicles mini kit for November. It was chock full Fancy Pants 'Daily Grind' goodies! I didn't start out using Sally Flynn's sketch for it, but it ended up that way. The journal strip reads...Enjoy the little things for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things. by Robert Brault

DREAM
This page was done for a photo altering challenge. I have to admit, once I downloaded Picasa there really isn't a photo I don't tweak with, at least a little. I'm not sure how I acheived the final outcome on this. I tried (note the word tried) to mimic Natalie's style ( a forum friend) she scraps very raw (I guess that's the word). She often uses masking tape, glimmer mist, staples etc- and here pages are awesome. So since she hosted the challenge, I tried to think in that artsy realm. I was pleased with the end results! TFL

Blue Eyes
New Store!!
My friend, Sandi, discovered a new scrapbooking store near Hershey, PA! It's called Fancy That ! Oh my goodness, I was in heaven! The store itself is just adorably FANCY. Everything de corated to a "T" in Shabby Chic, chocolate brown and pink!! LOVE IT! They have beautiful collections of papers and products, a fun kitchenette for scrapping breaks in their beautiful crop room! WOW is all I can say! Not only that, if you wnat to do a scrapping getaway, they have a separate house, that is decorated to match the store for a fun weekend away! So...if you ever visit PA, make sure you stop in there for your scrappy needs! I'm so excited to have such a fun place to shop close by!

Snow Tubing
This page I created by doing a workshop over at Urban Anthology . The design is based off of a page by Karen Maldonado. The workshop was to maximize the use of circles on our pages. The paper is Fancy Pants 'Arctic Chill'.

Sketch #33 at Creative Scrappers
Happy New Year Everyone!! Creative Scrappers is kicking off the year with a fantastic sketch by Cherie Avrill. I love all the layers on this sketch and since I'm a patterned paper fanatic, it was perfect for me. This picture is of my husband and two oldest daughters, probably 2 1/2 years ago at the MD State Fair. I just happened across it the other day and thought it was a perfect fit for this sketch and fun paper from Collage Press. If you need something to get your scrappin mojo flowing try this sketch out and post it over at Creative Scrappers !! Stop by each week, if you complete each of the Weekly Sketch Challenges, you'll have 52 pages completed for the year!
