I had just enough time this afternoon to work up this layout. Case File #111 has a perfect girly color palette to use for Viv's first day of 4th grade picture. To solve the case I used polka dots, stickers and a border. For the journaling challenge I sprinkled journaling words around the top portion of the page and also used the inspiration words enjoy and friends. I am enjoying using my stash, especially the Sass Lass papers, they are so delish! This sketch is from Creative Scrappers, I would venture to say several years back, I always love how my pages turn out when I use this sketch, plus, it's a great way to use up paper scraps. Thanks for looking.
Here is the case file, if you get a chance give it a try!

I found a very cool scrapbooking challenge site CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration. This site provides weekly case files to solve, tons of inspiration and the perfect way for me to use my scrapbook stash. I can't wait to jump into the next Case File.
Here is the Case File. I couldn't pass it up because the inspiration photo has 3 dachshunds...the perfect opportunity to scrap my favorite pet, Diggy, the miniature dachshund.

Okay, so I'm now back on a scrapbooking role! I love that I am actually excited about creating with paper again. I hope my excitement sticks and I continue to make time to take pictures of my kids and capture their memories in scrapbooking. At any rate, here is Creative Scrappers sketch #262...
I found this layout to be challenging, as I didn't have an easy resource for chevrons. I found some fun Sassafras Lass paper, Nerdy Bird, in my stash and began cutting. Also, both my sewing machines are faulty, so I drew pencil lines instead of sewing. Overall, I'm happy with it and glad I took on the challenge!

Finally, I've been inspired to scrapbook again! Maybe it's the weather and having one too many snow days! At any rate, I was inspired by this cool sketch from Creative Scrappers. Creative Scrappers is a place where I used to always draw inspiration from, so I jumped in and here it is...a nice summer layout of Sylvia!
